Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights in whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17 KJV)
The above verse from the book of James speaks volumes concerning the Giver of gifts and the nature of gifts He gives. There is at least six major points from the above text:
1. Every gift is good.
2. Every gift is perfect.
3. Every gift comes from above and comes down.
4. Every gift is from the Father of light.
5. In whom there is no variableness.
6. Neither shadow of turning.
This verse unveils that when the Almighty endows His children with gifts He will never change His mind. The mind of the Lord is immutable when bequeathing gifts to His children.
After downloading the above verse precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little, it is my pleasure to turn my attention to the author of this book.
